Growth plan for Golde, 3 Oct 2026

Scale spend. Hold CAC.

Golde already has proof: 745 reviews on the Superwhisk + Matcha Kit and 405 on the Turmeric kit. The plan turns that into creator videos and landing pages, with one number to protect: a $16.32 target CAC, tested against $24,000 of ad tests.

01 The number

One number to protect: $16.32 CAC on an $80.00 kit

The number is target CAC: $16.32. It is 0.6 of a $27.20 ceiling, built from a $34 average order, 40% margin and one repeat order. Order value and margin are my guesses until week one. Every test is judged against this line.

Protect

Target CAC: $16.32 on a first purchase

Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $34 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $27.20. Guard line = 0.6 × $27.20 = $16.32. Across the ranges: $9.45 to $108.00.

Three moves

  1. Kill any ad that runs past the $16.32 guard line without a path to a second order.
  2. Send paid traffic to a page per product, kit or latte blend, not one home page.
  3. Read daily CAC every morning and cut losers early, one variable per test.

02 Variety

The Superwhisk needs more than one reason to be bought

Each ad concept has to carry one reason to buy: the froth the Superwhisk makes, the matcha ritual, the turmeric latte, or the face mask. One reason per ad, so the table shows which reason moves a $39.00 Pure Matcha and which moves an $80.00 kit.

Each row is a reason to buy that the brand already has proof for. The count is how many of the ads carry it: a reason with a single ad is a bet, not a pattern, and the next batch of concepts moves toward the reasons that win.

03 Disturbances

Two caffeine figures and three shipping lines are the first risks

Risks with likelihood, impact, owner and gate
DisturbanceLikelihoodImpactOwnerGate (proposed)
Pure Matcha lists about 60mg and about 72mg of caffeine per 1 tspHighMedYour teamOne caffeine figure approved in the claims sheet before any matcha ad goes live
Free shipping reads $50+, $45+ and over $60 across the siteHighMedYour teamOne threshold confirmed and live before the first landing page ships
Hit rate is lower than guessed, so no winner appears in the first testsMedHighBothIf week three shows no ad under $16.32, change the hook, not the budget
Tracking misses subscription and gift card orders, so CAC reads wrongMedHighYour teamDaily CAC reconciles with store orders before spend rises past week two
Creators ship late and the 10 live by week six target slipsMedMedMeTwo new creators live each week; two misses in a row trigger a replacement
Kit price of $80.00 is steep for a cold audience, so CAC runs highMedHighBothIf kit CAC stays above $27.20 after the first tests, lead with the $32.00 latte blend
Face mask lines drift past the brand's own wording on the Clean Greens Face MaskLowHighMeEvery face mask line is copied from the approved claims sheet, zero edits

Scores are my read from outside the company, re-scored in week one with your data. Each risk has one owner and one gate that can be checked with a number, so nobody has to argue about whether it happened.

04 The ceiling

The ceiling is $27.20 on a $34 order, and $34 is a guess

Unit economics lines
LineValueStatus
Average order$34 (range $18.00–$80.00)Assumption Range from the site product prices (Published); the midpoint is a guess
Gross margin40% (range 35–45%)Assumption Replace in week one
Repeat orders after the first1 (range 0.5–2)Assumption Replace with cohort data in week one
Margin per customer, all orders$27.20Calculated Average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders)
Guard line for CAC$16.32Calculated 0.6 × the margin per customer

The math, with the assumed lines

Ceiling = average order × margin × (1 + repeat orders): $34 × 40% × (1 + 1) = $27.20. Guard line = 0.6 × $27.20 = $16.32. Across the ranges: $9.45 to $108.00.

Range across the assumptions: $9 to $108.

The $27.20 ceiling mixes guesses and a rule: the $34 order, 40% margin and one repeat order are guesses; the 0.6 guard line is my rule. Week one replaces the guesses with Golde's real order data.

The ceiling is a range, not one number: the most a new customer can cost before shipping and packaging, which I do not have. Replace the guessed lines with yours and every figure below recalculates.

05 Test ramp

Six weeks of tests, $24,000, before any scale-up

Test ramp by week
WeekNew ads × budget / ad (proposed)Weekly test spendCumulativeCreators postingCAC target (proposed)
112 × $250$3,000$3,0000$16
212 × $250$3,000$6,0002$16
312–20 × $250$4,000$10,0004$16

520 × $250$5,000$19,0008$16
620 × $250$5,000$24,00010$16

Weeks one and two run 12 ads at $250 each, $3,000 a week. Weeks three and four run 12–20 ads, $4,000 a week. Weeks five and six run 20 ads, $5,000 a week. Total tests: $24,000, all Proposed. Losers die early; winners earn the next week's spend.

Cumulative test spend, week by week (proposed): $24,000 by week 6

  2. $6,000Wk 2
  3. $10,000Wk 3
  4. $14,000Wk 4
  5. $19,000Wk 5
  6. $24,000Wk 6

The math. Week 1: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 2: 12 × $250 = $3,000; Week 3: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 4: 16 × $250 = $4,000; Week 5: 20 × $250 = $5,000; Week 6: 20 × $250 = $5,000. Total $24,000 (96 ads × $250). A range such as 12–20 counts as its midpoint.

Weeks one and two test what the brand already has, rewritten per reason to buy. From week three, creator videos enter paid only after they beat their own account median. A range of new ads counts as its midpoint in the spend column.

06 Volume

More Golde concepts, more winners, if the hit rate holds

More concepts mean more chances at a winner. On the guessed hit rate, 20 concepts give 2 winners and 80 give 8, adding $72,000 a month. Hit rate and spend per winner are guesses, not Golde data.

Concepts, hit rate and added spend
Concepts tested / monthHit rate (assumed)New winners / monthSpend each winner holds (assumed)Added spend at target CAC
2010%2$300 / day$18,000 / month
4010%4$300 / day$36,000 / month
6010%6$300 / day$54,000 / month
8010%8$300 / day$72,000 / month

The math. 20 concepts × 10% = 2 winners × $300 × 30 days = $18,000 a month; 40 concepts × 10% = 4 winners × $300 × 30 days = $36,000 a month; 60 concepts × 10% = 6 winners × $300 × 30 days = $54,000 a month; 80 concepts × 10% = 8 winners × $300 × 30 days = $72,000 a month.

The hit rate and the spend each winner holds are placeholders. The first thirty days of tests replace them with real numbers, and the table is recalculated the same day.

Reserve to scale proven winners
$10,000
10%

Proposed split of the $100,000; the reserve only scales ads that beat the $16.32 line.

The math. 45% × $100,000 = $45,000; 25% × $100,000 = $25,000; 20% × $100,000 = $20,000; 10% × $100,000 = $10,000. Sum 100% = $100,000.

This split is a proposal. It moves toward scaling as winners prove out, and toward testing when fatigue shows.

08 Channels

Meta first: a whisk frothing milk is a video, not a banner

Channels and opening conditions
ChannelOpen when (proposed)Why wait
MetaWeek one, with 12 ads liveFroth and kit demos are video, and feed placements suit them
TikTokWeek three, once creator videos reach 28 a weekHome-café and matcha ritual content already lives as short video
EmailWhen the 10% off sign-up offer is trackedWelcome offer turns first visits into a repeat-order path
Google SearchAfter week two, if branded searches show upBuyers who hear about Superwhisk will search the name
PinterestAfter a winner clears the $16.32 lineLatte and matcha recipes are saved content with long life

A channel opens when its condition is true, not when the calendar says so. Until then the budget stays where the CAC is earned.

09 Payback

CAC at $30 never pays back; at $15 it needs a repeat order

Payback is the real constraint. At CAC $10 the first order covers it, with $17.20 left. At $15 it pays back after repeat orders, with $12.20 left. At $30 or $40 it never does, so I stop. Subscriptions carry 10% off, so I read them as their own cohort.

Margin left per customer, order by order (assumed midpoint, before CAC)
  1. $13.60Order 1
  2. $27.20Order 2

Cumulative margin per customer, order by order, before CAC: $13.60, $27.20.

CAC scenarios and payback
CAC (scenario)First-order marginYear-one marginLeft after CACPayback
$10$13.60$27.20$17.20First order
$15$13.60$27.20$12.20After repeat orders
$30$13.60$27.20−$2.80Never: stop
$40$13.60$27.20−$12.80Never: stop

The math. CAC $10: $27.20 − $10 = $17.20 left; pays back: First order; CAC $15: $27.20 − $15 = $12.20 left; pays back: After repeat orders; CAC $30: $27.20 − $30 = −$2.80 left; pays back: Never: stop; CAC $40: $27.20 − $40 = −$12.80 left; pays back: Never: stop.

Read each row left to right: the margin of the first purchase, the margin over the whole horizon, what is left after CAC, and the purchase on which the CAC is earned back. A scenario that never pays back is a stop, not a test.

10 Scope

What I cover, and what stays with Golde's team

Covers

  • Meta ad strategy, hook library and weekly experiments
  • Creator briefs, sourcing and pay structure
  • Landing page briefs for each kit and latte blend
  • Daily CAC, weekly learnings, monthly cohort payback

Doesn’t

  • Event tracking build; I spec it, your team ships it
  • Product claims sign-off for matcha and face mask
  • Fulfilment, shipping windows and customer care
  • Category experience: I have none in wellness or skincare

What this plan covers is what I can change inside the ad account and the creator program. Everything outside it is named on the right so nobody assumes it is handled.

Gates, written before spend, so stopping isn’t a negotiation.

Gates at days 14, 30, 60, 90
DayKeep going if (proposed)Stop or change if
Day 14At least one ad under the $27.20 ceiling and daily CAC reconciled with store ordersTracking unreconciled, or no ad under $27.20
Day 30Creators live on plan, one winner near the $16.32 line, tests held at $4,000 a week or underEvery ad above $27.20 after two rounds of new hooks
Day 60Blended CAC at or below $16.32 on spend scaled past the test rampCAC above $27.20 at higher spend
Day 90CAC held at $16.32 while spend grows, with repeat orders visible in the cohortCAC above $27.20 and no repeat orders in the cohort

Each gate is checked on its day with the numbers in the daily and weekly reports. If the stop condition is true, the spend stops and nothing renews until we talk.
