For me, The Golden Hour is a time to recharge, reflect, and prioritize what makes you feel good. Trinity Mouzon

I would say that my Golden Hour is the morning. I’m such a big morning person, I always have been. I naturally wake up around 7:30am and the first thing I do is go exercise.
So then I’ll have breakfast, which is usually a banana with some sort of nut butter, or eggs — or sometimes it’s oatmeal. I also love making a warm turmeric latte with Golde’s Original Turmeric Blend. It’s so satisfying and nourishing at the same time. Those are the things I have on breakfast menu rotation.
My preferred Golden Hour is first thing in the morning—between 5 and 6am, often when many people are still asleep or just waking up. I love how quiet everything is at that hour, which makes me feel I have the space and time to move at my own pace with whatever I need (or want) to do. My mornings usually consist of exercise, reading, and planning out the tasks of my day and if I get it all done before 8am I feel on top of the world!
My mom and I speak every day, sometimes even 2 to 3 times a day so we have built a sense of accountability around our individual wellness into our relationship. We also look at wellness as a balance between the mind, body, and spirit so we try to share moments that hit on all three when we are together. For example, one of our favorite things to do is a Sunday morning hike, where we talk about our highs and lows of the previous week, things that have brought us joy recently, and anything we may want a second opinion on. When we are done, we either go to one of our favorite lunch spots or relax over a Shroom Shield Latte. We both have pretty demanding schedules and are extremely type A people, so these moments are the times when we can both slow down and enjoy peace together.
Usually I’m up around 6am (I told you I’m a morning person!). The day starts with me putting on some hot water for a golden latte.
My go-to latte recipe is really simple — you can find it here. I like to mix it up between all three flavors, but lately I’ve really been loving the matcha.
My "Golden Hour" is definitely the morning hour. I love getting things done in the morning whether it be edits or a facial. I feel so productive in the morning. Sometimes I even saunter down to SoHo and head to McNally Jackson to check out the magazines when I have absolutely nothing to do.
Definitely nighttime, I am a night owl and like to do all my self-care rituals before bed.

Milk of your choice (we like oat milk!)
By now you've probably heard about the many non-dairy milks out there and all the delicious things you can make with them, from coconut milk smoothies to oat milk matcha lattes. If you're like us at Team Golde, you might have some questions about where to start. That’s why we created a cheat sheet to help you know your cashew from your coconut!

Here’s how to make the perfect superfood sip in 4 foolproof steps:
Making a matcha latte can seem pretty intimidating, but it’s actually super easy to make one that’s even better than your local coffee shop’s – and it won’t cost you $7 every time!
A simple hack to upgrade your coffee is to create the foamy milk of your dreams with Superwhisk. In a cup, add milk, froth for 1 minute and watch as the foam doubles in size!

Blend all ingredients on high for 30 seconds – careful not to overblend!
Transfer your oat milk to a sealed container (bonus points for re-using one!) and keep in the fridge. Enjoy within 5-7 days.
